Tunable Lasers

Lambda Physik® offers a full range of dye laser options that offer tunable,
narrow-bandwidth output over the visible and ultraviolet spectrum.

SCANmate® series is an excellent choice for spectroscopy, photochemistry,
photobiology and remote sensing. We also offer a line-narrowed oscillator/amplifier
excimer laser system that may be tuned over a given excimer-gas gain profile.

SCANmate 1: Basic model for low and medium energy applications
(up to 50 mJ pump energy), with a single dye cell used as an oscillator and
amplifier cell.

SCANmate 2: High performance laser with two application stages for higher energy
applications with optimal conversion efficiency. Pulse energies over 130 mJ are
available with pump energies up to 500 mJ.

SCANmate 2E: Premium narrow line width model. The oscillator incorporates an
intra-cavity etalon. The etalon is equipped with three different coatings, enabling it
to cover the entire spectral range.

COMPex®150T - The COMPex ®150 is an excimer laser system consisting of two
separately charged and switched laser heads built as a single unit. The laser can be
operated in different modes: Oscillator-Power-Amplifier (OPA) Mode, Tuning Mode,
or Two-Color Mode at pulse energies up to 500 mJ and repetition rates up to 50 Hz.
The COMPex 150T allows either low divergent, spectrally narrowed or high power
density operation, which makes it ideally suited for LIDAR (light detection and
ranging), spectroscopy, fiber Bragg grating writing or laser plasma X-ray
generation applications.
